Scott Hendley
Scott is a lifelong wine enthusiast, wine traveler, and Founder and Managing Editor of the National Wine Review (NWR), based in Alexandria, Virginia. Scott wrote feature reviews of wines and wineries for the Shenandoah Valley’s Mountain Courier and The Alexandria Times before establishing NWR as an independent online wine review publication in 2012. Scott also writes a quarterly wine review column in Alexandria Living Magazine. He is a self-described “equal opportunity” wine taster and routinely tastes and evaluates wines from around the world using a unique wine evaluation tool he and fellow NWR Tasting Panel members developed to apply method to wine tasting.
