During the month of August, artists from the Friends of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River will have art on display in the tasting room.
“Ripples & Reflections” features invited artists exploring the natural beauty of the Shenandoah River through conservation and ecological themes in original works through varied media, including painting, pottery, sculpture, ceramics, and glass.
All artworks in the “Ripples & Reflections” exhibition are available for purchase with 30 percent of sales donated to Friends of the North Fork in support of their work to keep the North Fork of the Shenandoah River clean, healthy, and beautiful.
Featured artists include: Liz Karafa, Barbara Camph, Ellen Fairchild-Flugel, Kary Haun, Kathy Kavanagh, Lynne Crumpacker, August Hoerr, Andrea Carracedo, Penelope Carroll, Debra Cooper, Glenn Richardson, Diane Gould, Bahir al Badre, Helen Jean Smith, Brian Baker, Kay Pierce, Laurel Vaughn, Jaz Draper, and Elaine Florimonte.
Along with our award-winning wines, we offer lunch and other delicious food offerings. You are welcome to bring your own food for a picnic on our lovely groomed lawn. Outside food is not permitted in the Tasting Room, the Terrace, or the Deck, however. Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property by Virginia state law.
